How to Safely Extract and Convert Exchange Mailboxes to Outlook PST Files

Follow the procedure described below to convert an Exchange database (EDB) file to Outlook PST files using Stellar Converter for EDB:
- The main interface of Stellar Converter for EDB provides two options: 'Convert Online EDB to PST' and 'Convert Offline EDB to PST'.
Convert Online EDB to PST:
- On the main interface, click 'Convert Online EDB to PST'. The 'Connect to Exchange Server Mailbox' dialog box is displayed. You can connect either to a single mailbox or to all mailboxes on the server. Select the desired option and provide the login details. Click 'OK'.
- If you choose to connect to a single mailbox, a window appears showing the 'User Name' and 'Status' of the mailbox. Click 'OK'.
- If you choose to connect to all mailboxes on the server, you will get a list of all mailboxes with their respective status as shown below. The status of some mailboxes will be shown 'Disconnected' if you do not have 'Full Mailbox Permission' for those mailboxes. Click 'OK'.
- You will get a list of selected / all mailboxes in the left pane with their corresponding folders. You can preview emails in these folders by selecting them from the top-right pane.
- Click 'Save Mailboxes' button on the toolbar, provide a desired destination path, and then click 'OK'. The software will save your mailboxes as PST files to the specified location.
Convert Offline EDB to PST:
- If you select 'Convert Offline EDB to PST', the following interface appears along with the 'Select EDB File' dialog box. In the dialog box, click 'Open EDB File' to select an offline EDB file for conversion. You can also search for EDB files in your system through 'Find EDB File'. Click 'Start' to initiate the conversion process.
- The software starts scanning the selected EDB file and lists all mailboxes in the file in the left pane. When you select a mailbox folder in the left pane, all mail items contained in the folder are displayed in the top-right pane. Select a mail item to preview its contents in the bottom-right pane. >
